At the crossroads between now and later…. A woman and her newborn baby make their way through a destroyed world. The landscape around her is saturated with hills of deep blue grit. She takes step after step, not knowing exactly which path she is taking, but determined to keep moving.
Blue hour is a journey of discovery into what lives within us that we can use to shape a new future.In response to today's society, Blue Hour explores the foundations on which a new world can be built in an intuitive, physical and sensory way. Blue Hour invites you to descend deeper into your body and feel the emotions that often go unused in our fast-paced Western world. The performance questions how we want shape the future? What role do you have in this changing world and what is your responsibility as an individual and to those who come after us? It was inspired by the Pulitzer Prize-winning 'The Road' by Cormac McCarthy, with a beautiful text written by Jibbe Willems.

Ïn a decor van halve, afgebrokkelde muren, omgevallen stoeltjes en een matrasje op de grond zien we een overgang van binnen naar buiten, beklemming naar bevrijding en ademgebrek naar ademruimte.
In a decor of half crumbled wall,m fallen chairs and. a matress on the floor, we see a transistion from insode to outside, contraction to liberation, tightness of breath to breathing space.
