DTMF (Dual-Toil Multi Frequent) Signaling is a work of music theatre that explores how the paradigm of the Internet age effects our perception of physical reality. DTMF examines the growing contradiction between the instant and over-connected society created by digital technologies and the decreasing intimacy and physical connections we encounter in our daily lives. DTMF brings the simultaneous, exponential perception of time of the Internet age to the physical world of the performance. The light design focused on transforming the stage image from a two dimensional impression into a three dimensional world.
